In the Mix with Jump Smokers
Hiptronik artists and producers Jump Smokers took a break from creating, producing and remixing to answer a few of our questions. Read on to find out about their viral hit "My Flow So Tight (Anti-Breezy)," their remix of Mariah Carey's album, and what the future holds for the Jump Smokers.

Jump Smokers: What's up everybody! We're the Jump Smokers, coming straight outta the CHI. And in particular, this is Roman. Reydon, V-Skratch and I are on a break from a studio session.
How did Jump Smokers get started? You guys are from Chicago; how do your roots affect your music?
Now You See It – Honorebel ft. Pitbull & Jump Smokers
Pitbull collaborates with Honorebel and Jump Smokers for “Now You See It”—a song that has all the right ingredients to become the next blazing club anthem. The latin-hip hop hybrid—typical of most Pitbull tracks—is the perfect song to keep you pumped for the rest of the night. There’s a good reason why people can’t get enough of Pitbull; if you haven’t jumped on the Pitbull bandwagon, maybe now you will with this fiery mix.
Now I’m That Bitch – Livvi Franc ft. Pitbull
"Now I'm That Bitch" may be the first single released by Jive Recording artist Livvi Franc, but she's no newcomer to the industry. At the age of 21, the RnB soulstress has already written songs for everyone from Jordin Sparks to Cheryl Cole, to the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson.
So it comes as no surprise that the UK native would make her own foray into the music world with this sexy Hiptronik track, which features vocals by the illustrious Pitbull. The Franc's anthem-y single began receiving radio play this past June in the UK, but look out for Franc's second single, "Automatik," which she calls a "clubbanger." Self-described as a mesh of retro, dance and mainstream pop, Franc's upcoming album is definitely worth the wait.
TiK ToK – Ke$ha
If you haven't heard of Ke$ha yet, you will soon. The protege of hit producer Doctor Luke (Missy Elliot, Britney Spears, Flo Rida), Ke$ha is a youthful electro-pop songbird with a flair for rhythm and rhyme. "TiK ToK" is the first single she's released since being signed to RCA, but her compositions have appeared on TV shows and the internet for years now (yes, that was her on Flo Rida's hit "Right Round"). Keeping in step with the style that earned her an underground following, "TiK ToK" is an Uffie-inspired tune laced with lyrics regaling listeners with the universal tale of party kids. Keep an eye on Ke$ha--besides releasing her own singles, she'll be making an appearance this year on another Flo Rida single ("Touch Me") as well as on Pit Bull's song "Girls."
On to You – Clinton Sparks ft. Pitbull & Fatman Scoop
This is quite an interesting track as Clinton Sparks pulls Pitbull and Fatman Scoop another notch further into the Hiptronik genre. Pitbull continues his momentum into the party world in this collaboration with two of the club world’s favorite icons.
Outta Control (Jump Smokers Remix) – Baby Bash ft. Pitbull
Baby Bash and Pitbull mix up some Latin love and lay down solid rhymes for any club that wants to add a different spice to their hiptronik mix. The Jump Smokers remixed the track with a heavy reverberating bass punctuated by trance beats and creative voice distortion, as well as Pitbull's trademark catcalls to the laaaadies. The remix starts off relatively tame--a slight disappointment for a song called "Outta Control," but it quickly warms up. Once Baby Bash tears through the second verse and the dance floor shakes, you can't help but feel "love for the DJ."
Let the Bass Kick – DJ Chuckie Vs Jermaine Dupri
This DJ CHUCKIE track was originally entitled “Let the Bass Kick.” That is, until hip hop mogul Jermaine Dupri got his hands on it and threw up some killer fillers, like “Fellas pop some bottles / ladies stand on shit and do the supermodel.” For DJ’s trying to pump up a party, this is definitely a track they need in their serrato arsenal. Since this is originally a DJ CHUCKIE track, there are a couple of remixes floating around, including one with Hiptronik pioneer Pitbull.
Shooting Star (Party Rock Rmx) – David Rush
Originally by David Rush, this remix of "Shooting Star" was put together by the boys of LMFAO, who brought along fellow hiptronik artists Kevin Rudolf, Young Boss and Pitbull. The original track was much more mellow--but of course, party rock and hiptronik are anything but mellow.

Krazy – Pitbull featuring Lil Jon
The original song is Cream by Federico Franchi. Pitbull & Lil Jon pulls it off again transforming this techno/electro beat into another PARTY ANTHEM. The new song has a much more funky bass that makes you "GO KRAZY!"
Move Shake Drop by Pitbull
I thought Pitbull would not step up to the awesome sample that is "Satisfaction" by Benny Bennassi, but I really think he did a decent job on the song. He makes the electronic beat work with his quick party flow. The beauty of this song is that he made a song that is super popular in the rave scene into a booty anthem!
