Crazy4S – 2PM
Granted, KPop sensation 2PM's latest endeavor, "Crazy4S," might be an endorsement song, but it's a really great endorsement song. To take it a step further, it's a huge step in the right direction for the boy band in terms of maturity and sound. They're embracing HipTronik and we couldn't be happier. The track alternates between auto-tuned and natural, and the beat backing them up is sick. Let's see what we have here: Cute boys? Check. Hot dance routine? Check. Catchy hook? Check. Honestly, what more do you need?
Stick Up – Jackie Boyz
For Los and Stevie, music is a family affair (the brothers dubbed themselves the Jackie Boyz in memory of their late mother). The pair started their music career singing on a pier in their hometown of Savannah, Georgia, but those days are long gone. Fast forward to 2010 and see how much their hard work has paid off: the Jackie Boyz have collaborated with the likes of Flo Rida, Justin Beiber and Robin Thicke, to name a few. With “Stick Up,” the duo showcases their talents as singers and songwriters in this R&B dance melody that oozes HipTronik. If you haven’t heard of the Jackie Boyz, then you’re in for a treat.
Blah Blah Blah- Ke$ha ft 3OH!3
If you've been paying any attention to the radio lately, you've probably heard Ke$ha's latest single, "Blah Blah Blah," which features 3OH!3, whose recent hiptronik single "Starstrukk" with Katy Perry went as high as seven on US charts. Utilizing Ke$ha's signature vocal rampage through electro-pop, the song is catchy and hot enough to get your head bouncing on your morning commute. Not one to mince words, Blah Blah Blah's lyrics fit right in line with the rebellious artist's philosophy that women can be just as promiscuous as men and get away with it. The video for this hiptronik track just wrapped up shooting, so expect to see that on your screen soon!

Keep It Goin’ Louder – Major Lazer ft. Nina Sky and Ricky Blaze
Major Lazer’s DJ Diplo and Switch team up with Nina Sky (the twins responsible for hit track “Move Ya Body”) and up-and-comer Ricky Blaze for “Keep It Goin’ Louder” — the buoyant product of a corresponding set of talent. The song’s lighthearted feel and consistent beat resonates throughout the video's playful animation on the dance floor. It’s a simple, feel-good sound that comes as no surprise considering the charisma of the collaboration. “Keep It Goin’ Louder” has a happy-go-lucky feel that makes it irresistible.
Electrolightz Mixtape Released (FREE DOWNLOAD)
LA-based hiptronik group Electrolightz dropped their new mixtape today, featuring signature remixes of Lady Gaga's "Telephone" and "Bad Romance," and La Roux's "Bulletproof" along with Electrolightz's own original tracks.
The 16-track electro-dance-hip-hop mixtape will be welcomed into the world tonight at a live release party hosted by Dim Mak Cinespace in LA, with special guest Steve Aoki.
I Got It – Starrset ft. Donald Glaude
Remember when we introduced you to Starrset? It's been a few weeks now, and we've since discovered this gem of a track on YouTube. "I Got It" was remixed by none other than the infamous Donald Glaude. Glaude takes the original track and mixes it up with a bit of Benny Benassi's "Satisfaction." The tune is standard dance floor flair, but we definitely foresee it getting the room jumping. With hits like this, the young Starrset duo are undoubtably on their way up!
Drown in the Now – The Crystal Method ft. Matisyahu
Fusing music genres can be tricky, but The Crystal Method and Matisyahu do it seamlessly. “Drown in the Now” is a composite mix done right, with intricate nuances that keep you on your toes. The track is a natural by-product of the artists’ different musical perspectives: The Crystal Method has an electronic focus, while Matisyahu—a Hasidic Jewish musician—works with reggae and religion. "Drown in the Now" mirrors this dynamic between electronic and reggae effortlessly, creating a complex, musical harmony.
KAT-TUN – The D-Motion
What do you get when you auto-tune a boy band? JPop sensations KAT-TUN answer that question with their new single, "The D-Motion." Although the pairing sounds like a recipe for disaster, the song actually holds its own--and then some. The first minute of the track repeats, "I wanna feel...I wanna feel like..." and answers with quick comebacks of "party people" and the like. Rather simple, yes, but it does an amazing job taking you to that drunken, mystified stupor found only on the dance floor. Don't believe a Japanese pop band can do HipTronik? Then you've got to listen to this track.
Love You No More – Bob Sinclar ft. Shabba Ranks
“Love You No More” is a nod to worldly eclecticism with its Jamaican rhythm and French lyrics. The song has a definite cultural ambience: Bob Sinclar is a noteworthy French DJ known for his Parisian flair while Shabba Ranks’ distinct musical style hails from Jamaica. Set in Queens, New York, the video is an apt reflection of the track’s laid-back vibe and cross-culturalism. Sinclar and Ranks play on their diversity in this melting pot medley, “Love You No More.”
Noisy Neighbor (Take It Off) – Akon ft. David Guetta
Akon and David Guetta are teaming up again after the massively successful collaboration, "Sexy Bitch," to offer up their new track, "Noisy Neighbor (Take It Off)." It's slightly more mellow than its predecessor, but the hook is amazing and we're sure that the clubs will eat this one up as well. We're curious to see what kind of music video this track will produce, considering "Sexy Bitch" has already stirred up controversy as far as Australia for its sexual imagery--and the fact that it's being aired during daytime TV. With a title like this, we have a hard time believing this duo is going to let anything hold them back.
Rombo – The Bloody Beetroots ft. Congorock
Smoking pineapples and battered fruit might seem strange in a music video, but The Bloody Beetroots make it work. The group collaborates with Congorock for the trance-inducing, attention-grabbing song “Rombo,” which mixes peculiar sounds with a hypnotizing track. Bear in mind, this is not your run-of-the-mill dance video—the distorted images look more like something from a horror movie—but The Bloody Beetroots are known for shying away from the norm. “Rombo” may not be typical, but that’s why we like it.
Feel It – Three 6 Mafia ft. Tiesto, Sean Kingston and Flo-Rida
Here's a collaboration we weren't expecting: Three 6 Mafia joins forces with a myriad of talent, including the illustrious Tiësto, to create "Feel It" -- a HipTronik hit destined for the dance floor. True, Sean Kingston seems a bit out of place, especially since the video is set on the Vegas strip, but combined with Flo Rida, you have just enough variation to keep you on your toes. Clubs aside, this seems like a sure hit for some radio play. Tiësto on mainstream radio? We've come a long way.
Misery – Good Charlotte (Steve Aoki Remix)
We know what you’re thinking: how does Good Charlotte fit into the HipTronik mold? The answer is Steve Aoki. The pop-punk band’s song “Misery” morphs into a dance-worthy mix with his helping hands. The song is based on a hard electronic sound that starts slow and then gradually builds into a high-frequency dance track. Aoki has a way with tracks, and “Misery” is a great example.
