One (Your Name)- Swedish House Mafia ft. Pharrell

Pharrell ventures out into HipTronik territory again with this amazing track by Swedish House Mafia. "One (Our Name)" is the first official single from the Swedish DJ trio, and it's already paved its way through the UK charts. That's not much of a surprise: the combination of Pharrell's eery vocals on top of a layer of house is too much to handle. And the video? It's just as mesmerizing as the song itself. If the rest of Swedish House Mafia's upcoming tracks are this good, we're in for one heck of an album.
Work Hard, Play Hard- Tiesto ft. Kay
Tiësto is arguably one of the world's best DJs, and he's back with a HipTronik venture alongside Canadian artist Kay. "Work Hard, Play Hard" is an anthem for working men and women, perfect for that Friday night out. You can download the track free as part of Tiësto's virtual mix CD "What's Next," available through SanDisk's Wake Up Your Phone promotion when you purchase a mobile SanDisk memory card. SanDisk will also be sponsoring select Tiësto concerts worldwide, encouraging fans to record concert footage on their phone and submit it for use in an official video. New tracks from Tiësto are always amazing. But an entire free Tiësto album? That's on a whole other level.
Whatever You Like (Discotech Remix) – T.I.

Despite the fact that there's not much information out there about the actual identity of Discotech, we can definitely come to the conclusion that they create some awesome remixes. The one we like best? That has to be their take on T.I.'s "Whatever You Like." The original had us smooth grooving, but this version has us jumping on the dance floor. The remix hardly strays from the arrangement of the original track, instead simply giving it that necessary HipTronik push. Discotech has just launched a new blog, which still lacks a bio, but makes up for it with little remix gems. If the music's good, does it really matter?
Cross The Dancefloor – Treasure Fingers
Treasure Fingers has struck HipTronik gold -- again. The DJ banks on a beat that's a blast from the past, without being stale and repetitive. Instead, the disco sound is given a modern twist with a fresh electronic infusion. “Cross The Dancefloor” has that Treasure Fingers stamp with its funky groove and HipTronik spin. With a European tour underway and a batch of official remixes, the Atlanta DJ's indie image and disco feel has done wonders to perpetuate the indie craze.
Ce Jeu (Rogerseventytwo Remix) – Yelle

Rogerseventytwo may be from the Netherlands, but his DJ style traces back to the French. Hence the remix of Yelle’s vibrant track “Ce Jeu,” where we see a magnetic infusion of suspended electro lines and pounding bass to amp up the quirky original. Rogerseventytwo evolved as he joined forces with long-time friend The Walk and together became TWR72. The duo explore the maxims of French house music, refashioning the old-school to make it their own. Despite thir rising popularity in Europe, TWR72 has shifted gears to focus on producing rather than deejaying. But TWR72 won’t be falling to the background anytime soon; the pair is set to release a fresh set of tracks with their first EP, so be sure to keep them on your HipTronik radar.
The Reeling (Triangle Offense remix) – Passion Pit

Triangle Offense is taking HipTronik in a new direction. The Asian rap trio take a hands-on approach to their music as writers, producers and rappers. Adonis, Sci, and Finesse give their nod to artist inspirations like Passion Pit, Far East Movement and Theophilus London with their eclectic electronic mixes of indie hits.
Triangle Offense display their triple-threat talent, emerging at the forefront of this growing trend with the release of their new mixtape, "The Courting" (download here). Be sure to check out their remix of “The Reeling” -- the perfect blend of old-school indie flavor and edgy HipTronik beats.
Monday Mashup: Might Like Ghosts Better (Amanda Blank x Bad Cabbage vs. Deadmau5) – DJ Paul V
Another week, another Monday, another mashup. This week we're bringing you a mashup by LA-based DJ Paul V, remixing old and new together with Phillie rapper Amanda Blank's "Might Like You Better" and vocals from 2003 Bad Cabbage track "You're Rude," all brought together with a hot electronic beat from electro house DJ deadma5's collaboration with Rob Swire, entitled "Ghosts n Stuff."
Monday Mashup: Major Lazer vs Usher (DJ Jamie C)
![]()
We're kicking the week off with this mashup of Major Lazer's "Pon de Floor " and Usher's "Yeah." DJ Jamie C combines old and new with these two major club anthems, blending together everything that's great about electronic and hip-hop for this HipTronik dance floor remix.
Drown in the Now – The Crystal Method ft. Matisyahu
Fusing music genres can be tricky, but The Crystal Method and Matisyahu do it seamlessly. “Drown in the Now” is a composite mix done right, with intricate nuances that keep you on your toes. The track is a natural by-product of the artists’ different musical perspectives: The Crystal Method has an electronic focus, while Matisyahu—a Hasidic Jewish musician—works with reggae and religion. "Drown in the Now" mirrors this dynamic between electronic and reggae effortlessly, creating a complex, musical harmony.
Rombo – The Bloody Beetroots ft. Congorock
Smoking pineapples and battered fruit might seem strange in a music video, but The Bloody Beetroots make it work. The group collaborates with Congorock for the trance-inducing, attention-grabbing song “Rombo,” which mixes peculiar sounds with a hypnotizing track. Bear in mind, this is not your run-of-the-mill dance video—the distorted images look more like something from a horror movie—but The Bloody Beetroots are known for shying away from the norm. “Rombo” may not be typical, but that’s why we like it.
Misery – Good Charlotte (Steve Aoki Remix)
We know what you’re thinking: how does Good Charlotte fit into the HipTronik mold? The answer is Steve Aoki. The pop-punk band’s song “Misery” morphs into a dance-worthy mix with his helping hands. The song is based on a hard electronic sound that starts slow and then gradually builds into a high-frequency dance track. Aoki has a way with tracks, and “Misery” is a great example.
Skin Dive – Duran Duran (Steve Aoki Remix)
Duran Duran is not a group you would typically find on our HipTronik radar—the ‘80s rock band is not exactly known for being danceable. But when Steve Aoki gets his hands on a track, it’s bound to get you moving in all the right ways, and “Skin Dive” is proof of this. Aoki breaths new life into an old school sound by infusing elements of electronic and hip hop into a rock song. “Skin Dive” is a striking blend that mixes traces of the familiar with modern, in true Aoki fashion.
