Work Hard, Play Hard- Tiesto ft. Kay
Tiësto is arguably one of the world's best DJs, and he's back with a HipTronik venture alongside Canadian artist Kay. "Work Hard, Play Hard" is an anthem for working men and women, perfect for that Friday night out. You can download the track free as part of Tiësto's virtual mix CD "What's Next," available through SanDisk's Wake Up Your Phone promotion when you purchase a mobile SanDisk memory card. SanDisk will also be sponsoring select Tiësto concerts worldwide, encouraging fans to record concert footage on their phone and submit it for use in an official video. New tracks from Tiësto are always amazing. But an entire free Tiësto album? That's on a whole other level.
Whatever You Like (Discotech Remix) – T.I.

Despite the fact that there's not much information out there about the actual identity of Discotech, we can definitely come to the conclusion that they create some awesome remixes. The one we like best? That has to be their take on T.I.'s "Whatever You Like." The original had us smooth grooving, but this version has us jumping on the dance floor. The remix hardly strays from the arrangement of the original track, instead simply giving it that necessary HipTronik push. Discotech has just launched a new blog, which still lacks a bio, but makes up for it with little remix gems. If the music's good, does it really matter?
Any Way You Choose to Give It (Fake Blood mix) – The Black Ghosts
The UK duo behind The Black Ghosts, Theo Keating and Simon William Lord, started their collaboration over the Internet. They initially began exchanging and creating music over the web and didn’t meet in person until half of their self-titled album "Black Ghosts" was written.
Keating and Lord pull inspiration from their respective backgrounds—Keating is a popular house DJ and used to be part of electronica hip hop band TheWiseguys, while Lord was a member of now dysfunct electronic rock band Simian—and that combination is evident in their track “Any Way You Choose To Give It.” The song's industrial sound plays off static vocals for an eerie HipTronik blend. Be sure to check out more of The Black Ghosts' increasingly popular Fake Blood remixes.
Rule (80Kidz’s “No More Rule” Mix) – Ayumi Hamasaki
What happens when you mix one of Japan's greatest pop stars with its most exciting electronica group? Answer: "Rule (80Kidz's 'No More Rule' Mix)," the original track which appeared on Ayumi Hamasaki's 45th single, "Rule / Sparkle," and was used internationally in the live action "Dragonball Evolution" released earlier this year.
Surprisingly, the 80Kidz were asked to remix the track for the megastar, despite their underground status. The results are simply mouthwatering, if not completely addictive. Though they don't often release electronica/hip-hop mashups, the 80Kidz are definitely worth checking out (you'll love "Life Begins at Eighty" and "Disdrive"). Trust us, this up-and-coming group out of Tokyo is not one you want to miss.
Fire – 2NE1
2NE1 is the latest group to emerge from the legendary Korean hip hop label, YG Entertainment, along with their hiptronik label mates Big Bang. Produced by Park Teddy, the girl band’s first single, “Fire,” interlaces electronica with an intoxicating reggae beat already burning up the charts. Their music video garnered one million hits its first day on YouTube and earned several awards, including “Song of the Month.” 2NE1 is clearly paving the way for the hiptronik movement in Korea, but with their popularity showing no signs of slowing down, the rest of Asia is probably not far behind.
