Memories- David Guetta ft. Kid Cudi
David Guetta is on a roll with HipTronik these days having released multiple tracks with Akon, Chris Willis and Estelle. This Kid Cudi collaboration however takes the cake. The lyrics are kept simple and to the point: "All the crazy sh** I did tonight, those will be the best memories..." Combining David Guetta's infectious touch with Kid Cudi's uncanny ability to throw out a ton of emotions in a few words is ingenious. What results is a dizzying club anthem you'll find yourself playing over and over while getting ready for a night on the town.
Everytime We Touch – David Guetta (DJ Chuckie Remix)
![]()
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen DJ Chuckie remix a David Guetta song (Remember “One Love” a couple months back?). Now, he’s at it again with “Everytime We Touch.” While the original is already a house favorite, Chuckie gives the track a fresh spin by bringing up the tempo. We love a good HipTronik remix and DJ Chuckie’s “Everytime We Touch” is just that.
In the Mix with Jump Smokers
Hiptronik artists and producers Jump Smokers took a break from creating, producing and remixing to answer a few of our questions. Read on to find out about their viral hit "My Flow So Tight (Anti-Breezy)," their remix of Mariah Carey's album, and what the future holds for the Jump Smokers.
HipTronik: Please introduce yourselves to HipTronik and to the readers.
Jump Smokers: What's up everybody! We're the Jump Smokers, coming straight outta the CHI. And in particular, this is Roman. Reydon, V-Skratch and I are on a break from a studio session.
How did Jump Smokers get started? You guys are from Chicago; how do your roots affect your music?
Noisy Neighbor (Take It Off) – Akon ft. David Guetta
Akon and David Guetta are teaming up again after the massively successful collaboration, "Sexy Bitch," to offer up their new track, "Noisy Neighbor (Take It Off)." It's slightly more mellow than its predecessor, but the hook is amazing and we're sure that the clubs will eat this one up as well. We're curious to see what kind of music video this track will produce, considering "Sexy Bitch" has already stirred up controversy as far as Australia for its sexual imagery--and the fact that it's being aired during daytime TV. With a title like this, we have a hard time believing this duo is going to let anything hold them back.
One Love (Chuckie & Fatman Scoop RMX) – David Guetta & Estelle
Another hit in a string of hot collaborations from David Guetta, “One Love” is the title track off his fourth studio album, featuring smooth vocals from Grammy-winning British crooner Estelle. Guetta, who is in increasingly high demand, has had recent success partnering with artists like Akon ("Sexy B*tch") and Black Eyed Peas ("I Gotta Feeling"). DJ Chuckie and Fatman Scoop team up this time, combining Chuckie’s dirty Dutch sound with Fatman Scoop’s own hip hop prowess to create a hot HipTronik remix.
Sexy Bitch – David Guetta ft. Akon
Another smart and strategic collaboration, David Guetta does it again with another crowd-banging track featuring the poppy vocals of singer Akon. This track might have feminists in an uproar with its controversial lyrics, but the song is fun and (we think) harmless. So either invest in a pair of earmuffs or get used to hearing it, because you'll probably be hearing this track through fall, winter, and into next year! No doubt, you'll even be hearing this hot track this coming weekend at Insomniac's Nocturnal Wonderland.
Rock that Body – Black Eyed Peas
"Rock that Body" hasn't completely hit rotations in the clubs like its popular counterpart off BEP's "The E.N.D." album, the David Guetta-produced track, "I Gotta Feeling." It has, however, a sound familiar to Justice and Daft Punk fanatics, and features a great sample from the classic hip hop track, (I wanna rock right now!) Rob Base and EZ Rock's 90's club banger "It Takes Two." The pairing of this classic party vibe with an increasingly popular electro tempo gives this BEP track a great platform to spring into serato playlists everywhere.
