One Love (Chuckie & Fatman Scoop RMX) – David Guetta & Estelle
Another hit in a string of hot collaborations from David Guetta, “One Love” is the title track off his fourth studio album, featuring smooth vocals from Grammy-winning British crooner Estelle. Guetta, who is in increasingly high demand, has had recent success partnering with artists like Akon ("Sexy B*tch") and Black Eyed Peas ("I Gotta Feeling"). DJ Chuckie and Fatman Scoop team up this time, combining Chuckie’s dirty Dutch sound with Fatman Scoop’s own hip hop prowess to create a hot HipTronik remix.
Let’s Go – Sidney Samson ft. Lady Bee & Bizzey
From the man who brought you the summer anthem, "Riverside," Sidney Samson's "Let's Go" is a new banger that embodies the dirty Dutch sound (think DJ Chuckie or Afrojack) spreading like wildfire across the globe. This particular collaboration with Lady Bee and Bizzey is a little reminiscent of our own Black Eyed Peas, but Lady Bee holds her own, more-than-impressive, track record.
Starting her career in the Dutch drum and bass scene, Lady Bee now commands the mic as one of the most sought-after MCs amongst house and club DJs. Be on the look-out for her debut album, which features all the top-of-the-line talent the Netherlands has to offer. If you prefer something less commercial, check out, "Shut Up and Let It Go," another Samson and Bee collabo.
Meet me halfway – Black Eyed Peas
This is the third single off the Black Eyed Peas’ fifth album, and of course, BEP delivers another smash hit. Fergie’s melodic voice is a perfect fit for this track, with an arrangement that is actually more electronic than hip hop. As it rises to the top of the charts with every other Black Eyed Peas hit, this song may even embolden other artists to be more daring and adventurous with the kind of music they release.
Rock that Body – Black Eyed Peas
"Rock that Body" hasn't completely hit rotations in the clubs like its popular counterpart off BEP's "The E.N.D." album, the David Guetta-produced track, "I Gotta Feeling." It has, however, a sound familiar to Justice and Daft Punk fanatics, and features a great sample from the classic hip hop track, (I wanna rock right now!) Rob Base and EZ Rock's 90's club banger "It Takes Two." The pairing of this classic party vibe with an increasingly popular electro tempo gives this BEP track a great platform to spring into serato playlists everywhere.
Boom Boom Pow – Black Eyed Peas (DJ AMMO official Rmx)
This remix off the official G.I. Joe soundtrack is amazing. DJ AMMO tears it up with this already dope BEP electro track. After the credits came up at the end of the movie, I definitely sat back down on my seat to give this track a listen. DJ AMMO adds an awesome hard bass to give it a kick, plus a slight hint of wobbly bass that almost shouts dubstep music.
