ANYWAY (DJ Aristocat re-edit) – DUCK SAUCE
Our good friend, Dj/producer Aristocat (John Walksi) re-edited this already mind-blowing track, “aNYway,” to give it a totally disco feel. DJ Quickie played it last week on Friday at Opera nightclub in Hollywood and even though we love the original by A-trak and Armand Van Helden (known together as Duck Sauce), this version works seamlessly in transition during a disco-style set. Dizzee Rascal & Armand Van Helden – Bonkers
A heavy bassline is my kind of silence!, spits popular British rapper Dizzee Rascal, who teamed up with American house producer Armand Van Helden to create this appropriately-titled hiptronik track “Bonkers.” In its first week on sale in the UK, it sold 114,165 copies, becoming the first non-charity & non-reality show single to sell over 100,000 since Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy.”
