Loonies to Blow – A-Trak ft. Drake

"Loonies to Blow" is deejay A-Trak's take on Drake's "Money to Blow," a track that made an appearance on the "Dirty South Dance 2" mixtape released earlier this year. With both artists hailing from Canada, A-Trak added "Loonies" to the title, which is Canadian slang for one dollar coins. So picture this: Drake, mic in one hand, throwing one-dollar coins into a crowd of clubbers, as A-Trak spins the turn tables behind him. That's basically what this song sounds like. "Loonies to Blow" is definitely for those of you following the "24 hour champagne diet." Check out this club banger to feed your HipTronik appetite.
Heads Will Roll (A-Trak remix) – Yeah Yeah Yeahs
A-trak is one of the few to pull off the hip hop-scratch-DJ-to-dance-music-Dj conversion. He was a DMC champion at age 15 and is still one of the most respected battle DJs in the world. He is now also one of the most successful dance music producers on the block! He takes the Yeah Yeah Yeah's killer sound and bumps the energy up about 10 notches. Not only A-trak, but DJs all over the world will be rocking this incredible remix of "Heads Will Roll"!
ANYWAY (DJ Aristocat re-edit) – DUCK SAUCE
Our good friend Dj/producer Aristocat (John Walksi) re-edited this already mind-blowing track, “aNYway,” to give it a totally disco feel. DJ Quickie played it last Friday at Opera in Hollywood and even though we love the original by A-trak and Armand Van Helden (known together as Duck Sauce), this version works seamlessly in transition during a disco-style set. Check out both the original (above) and the re-edit to fully appreciate.
